February 2025

I hope you had a fabulous February and that your Valentine’s Day was special. The free downloadable card featuring this print will remain in Jo’s Gift Garden for you. It would make a great birthday or anniversary card too. February has brought a few surprises my way, leading me to rearrange the launch of some designs…but sometimes, a little shift in plans makes space for something even more special.

So here’s what I’ve been working on….

A pillow that tells your family story.

Ever wished you could capture the beauty of the people you love in a lasting way? As you know, flowers are my thing because they have a way of reminding us of special moments. So I’m exciting to share something I’ve been working on- personalised pillows that bloom with the birth flowers of your loved ones. Whether it’s Grandma’s Garden, Mum’s Garden, or Our Family Garden, this design brings together the unique birth flowers of the people who mean the most to you along with their names. You can further customise it with a heart shaped foliage frame or add the specific dates of birth and butterflies. It’s a soft meaningful way to remember those you cherish, whether as a gift or a little reminder for yourself.

I’ve also created a personalised travel mug-your birth flower and name beautifully printed on a stylish Stanley-style tumbler. It’s a simple way to add a touch of beauty to your day whether at home or on the go. Because your morning drink deserves a little personal touch, don’t you think?

Every flower was lovingly hand-painted by me in Procreate watercolour. It was challenging, yet rewarding.

Invitation (some thoughts on life and faith)

Sometimes life and the world feels out of control. I am hurt by all the suffering and frustrated by my limits. This month has highlighted for me the stark reality that even in my very own life, I have very little control over certain things. How am I supposed to navigate a world that is so broken? Psalm 47:8 puts things into perspective for me. The Amplified Version reads: God reigns over the nations; God sits on His holy throne. It helps me to recognise that some things are not for me to resolve. I can certainly pray about them and I do. But then I need to move on and attend to the things that I can and must attend to. God is attending to the rest. He knows what He is doing. He is King over all. When I think about it, Jesus never at the flick of his wrist ended world poverty or brought down corrupt governments, although He certainly could have, and still can. But He is trying to teach us that as a man He could only take on certain things. He did good as He walked daily and spent much time in prayer about the rest. He always knew when to stay and when to move on to the next thing. I pray for such wisdom at this time.

Thanks for being a part of this journey with me! Have a magnificent March!

With joy and beauty,

Jo xxx
